It really should be called the BSCS

The new (and pretty much final) BCS rankings are out and the ONLY change in the top 10 is at the second and third spots.  And my question is this:

No matter how much OU beat Texas Tech and Oklahoma State by, how do they jump above a team who gave them their only loss?  How in the world does OU end up a “better” 11-1 team than Texas?

The only thing I can hope for is the unthinkable… Mizzou has to beat OU in the Big 12 title game next saturday night.  Ugh.

Anyway –

I downloaded a pretty good Johnny Cash tribute album today.  It’s called “All Aboard: A Tribute to Johnny Cash” and it has artists like MxPx, The Dresdon Dolls, The Gaslight Anthem, and Ben Nichols (from Lucreo) on it.  It brings together my two favorite genres: Punk and Country… so of course I can’t complain.

Oh, one more thing – the new Kings of Leon single “Sex on Fire” is fucking addicting.  Seriously.

Packers lost at home to the Panthers 35-31.  Good game but a loss nonetheless.

I hope everyone had a very happy Thanksgiving holiday and a safe “black Friday” shopping experience.  Allison and I had our first official “just us” turkey day dinner followed my my bar shift at work (which turned out great).

Going to enjoy a nice quiet weekend… until we get bored and go out tonight.  =)
